The rest of the evening consisted of making homemade pizza and watching Frozen for the first time (it was an instant favorite here and may or may not have already been watched 10 more times.) We ended our romp at the park with some birthday chalk drawings.

So many of these photos capture her personality so, so well. Above left: Probably my favorite photo of the day. The wind was blowing a bit and my little drama queen kept pretending it was blowing her wand away. We had a really great time playing around with different props. The first one or this one, with THREE spelled out horizontally. I can’t decide which style collage I like for THREE. It’s amazing how much has changed in a year! Getting her cooperation for photos was definitely A LOT easier this year! THREE contains a lot more letters than TWO but I think it turned out equally cute.įor comparison. I loved this one last year and had to retry it. Above: Monkey with her best buddy, “Baby Giraffe” We stopped at the park in the afternoon for a quick birthday photoshoot.
MONKEY LOVE BBIRTHDAY MAC
She picked out a couple small Lego Friends sets (Penguin, Tiger, and Turtle) and built them at lunch while she munched on apples and mac n cheese. We spent the morning at the zoo (Monkey and Mama’s favorite place!)Īfter the zoo, we made a quick stop at Toys R Us so Monkey could pick out a treat. Monkey was so excited to see all the balloons and to open her presents! Frozen and her scooter were the highlights of the morning!ĭaddy made some delicious birthday cake pancakes for breakfast, complete with glittery star-shaped candles! There were so many balloons, it was like wading through a ball pit. We left the birthday crown and wand on Monkey’s table and filled the living room with balloons. We had such a wonderful day and squeezed fun into every last second. a shopping trip to pick out something special.a fun-filled day chosen by the birthday girl.a room filled with balloons – LOTS of balloons!.a birthday crown (Check out her nd Bday crown and rd Bday crown). We have tried to create a few fun birthday traditions to repeat each year (Check out last year’s pictures if you missed them.) It’s a little extra planning but the end result is so much fun!! She had the best time and I took a million pictures. The Monkey’s birthday turned out to be a wonderful success.
